Sgt Pepper Revisited

Sgt Pepper, then and now

British pop artist Sir Peter Blake has revisited the infamous cover of The Beatles’ Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album to commemorate his 80th birthday.  Blake designed the original cover in 1967, peppering it with style icons of the day including Marilyn Monroe, Bob Dylan and Oscar Wilde.  This time around he’s roped in the likes of Grayson Perry, David Bowie and Delia Smith (!).  Click here for a full list of Blake’s contemporary icons.
