Free Ai Weiwei!

Ai Weiwei in Tiananmen Square, Beijing. This photograph was originally posted on the artist's blog, which was shut down by authorities in 2009.

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation has created an online petition calling for the release of Ai Weiwei.  It’s a chance for us slacktivists to throw our weight behind esteemed members of the international arts community including Tate Director Sir Nicholas Serota, MoMA director Glen Lowry and Serpentine Director Julia Peyton-Jones.  You can sign the petition here.  Do it!
